Ronni Paine (she/they) provides per diem coverage for our Neurologic Music Therapy programs. Originally from the midwest, they moved to California for internship, and stayed after getting board certified in 2016. Ronni's experience is with all ages with many different populations including pediatric burns and other complex medical conditions, pediatric and adult inpatient neurorehab, adult day program and care homes, and various private clients. They practice from a neurodiversity affirming, trauma informed, humanistic lens, and enjoy collaborating and co-treating with other professionals.
Outside of work she serves as Past President for the California Association for Music Therapy and is on the state task force. She has also presented on music therapy with pediatric burn patients, and working with Spanish speaking clients as a non-native speaker. During any free time, Ronni can be found cuddling and playing with their kitties Dusty and Demi (short for Dustin and Demogorgon from Stranger Things), hanging out with nephews, or playing board games and relaxing with her partner.
